We are all experiencing the overwhelming chaos of the world we live in. The common ground between us all can be experienced and shared through non-verbal communication. Please join us for this special event to receive the benefits of meditation and acupuncture and connect with your inner peace.
Zazen (meditation) and Auricular Acupuncture join forces to offer participants the opportunity to deepen awareness in silence and in community. In this afternoon retreat we will meditate together for 30 minutes with the NADA Auricular Acupuncture Protocol to relax the nervous system. Afterward, tea and open discussion provide a space to share and reflect on the experience.
The NADA Protocol is a non-verbal approach to healing.
NADA involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. Benefits include:
nada [nah-duh]
1. nothing; zero; none:
1. no-nonsense, non-verbal
2. no-drugs, no barriers
2. an ear puncture protocol for recovery
3. a not-for-profit training and advocacy organization
This event will be facilitated by Daishi Kevin Pinzone, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Seiko Maria Santoro, PhD, Licensed Massage Therapist, NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association), Herbalist. The fee for this event is $25. All proceeds will be donated to the Zen Studies Society. If you have any questions, please email office@newyorkzendo.org before registering. ZSS Health Protocols apply.
