As early spring breezes warm Beecher Lake and new shoots emerge on the forest floor, we launch into a season of renewal. During this seven-day sesshin, we honor the birth of the Buddha as well as the many other holy days of other religions at that time. We celebrate the Buddha’s birth, bathing a statue of the newborn Buddha under a pavilion of fresh flowers. At Holy Days Sesshin we also commemorate Master Rinzai, the founder of our Zen school.
The sesshin fee is $475 for Supporting Members and $525 for nonmembers. Please consider becoming a Supporting Member. If this will be your first sesshin, or you have any questions, please email office@daibosatsu.org before registering. No one will be turned away for lack of funds; please contact office@daibosatsu.org for support. ZSS Health Protocols apply.
