Workshop on Exploring Whiteness by Jikishi Celia Oyler
Saturday, June 26, 2021 | 2:00 – 4:00 pm EST
The two-hour workshop is designed to be highly participatory and has the following purposes:
- To begin creating our racial autobiographies (sharing them if we wish);
- To consider the potential for our Zen practice as a wellspring for racial identity/consciousness work;
- To identify areas of inquiry for a future series of six workshops.
This workshop is open to all practitioners, since we understand issues related to whiteness are not limited to those who self-identify as white.
