New Tea and Zen 2010 Calendar In an unprecedented event, the beautiful 2010 Tea and Zen calendar from Japan features calligraphy from three of our lineage's most recent masters. The introductory page has Soen Roshi's well-known Enso. The month of May is graced with Gempo Roshi's Mother's Day tribute “Haha Wa Arigatai”, which means “With Deep Gratitude To My Mother”. The year will end with Eido Roshi's dynamic and powerful “Mu”. The construction of this calendar is quite unusual and impressive. The calligraphy is first carefully printed on rice paper, then bound to the traditional decorative backing that tops each calendar page. Each calendar is really a work of art in itself.
